SINGLE NOTCHING

The material with only one easy magnetization direction is called single-oriented silicon steel sheet, and it's magnetization performance is the best along the rolling direction, arranged in the same direction, and the axis is perpendicular to the surface of the silicon steel sheet.

The outer diameter of 1250mm is the largest punching sheet we produce. For the design of the  large size motors, in order to offset the tooth harmonics during the operation of the motor, the slots of the stator core or rotor core are often designed to be skewed.

WORKING PRINCIPLE

The total number of cuts is equal to the number of slots on the lamination, since the tool only cuts one slot on the round sheet at one time in the process of single notching. We can produce some very special laminations, as all of our CNC single notching presses have a high precision positioning system and indexer, which can control every action of the machine. 

APPLICATION & COST

The tool cost of it is quite low, so the single notching is very suitable for low-to-medium volume production or prototype development, the tool cost of it is quite low. The production speed is relatively slow, but more than half of our CNC presses are equipped with automated production systems. These devices can greatly make up for the lack of production costs and ensuring production speed.

We are particularly adept at single notching, it's especially good for medium & large size motor lamination production.
