Due to the severe damage to Ukraine's power infrastructure caused by the war, frequent power outages, energy shortages, and the increasing demand for energy systems, high-voltage lithium battery systems have become an ideal choice for commercial and industrial users.
However, these systems are inseparable from a core management unit - BMS (battery management system)
Why is BMS recommended?
1.?Increased fire risk: Without a BMS, expensive batteries Maybe can catch fire, resulting in a total loss.
2.?As the battery is used for a longer time, the voltage will be inconsistent: Inconsistent voltages can lead to reduced capacity.
3.?Unable to control temperature: In the absence of a BMS, high temperatures may accelerate insulation aging, cause cell swelling, and potentially lead to fire.
4.?No short circuit protection: During sudden or abnormal loads, the system may experience currents that exceed safe thresholds, posing significant risks to the life and safety of engineers.
The role of the high-voltage system: monitor voltage, current, temperature and charging status, balance the battery cells, and prevent a series of problems such as overheating and overcurrent.
